A few years back, the good doctor gave up his management and university teaching responsibilities, so that hecould focus his efforts on studying Anthroposophical Medicine and Anthroposophical Psychotherapy. Since then, virtually all of his time outside of clinical practice has been dedicated to investigation and study of the interaction between mind and body. The overall goal is to discover ways to change clinical practice and approach treatment in a way that combines the physical and the spiritual and change healing forever. As a result of those efforts, his practice has changed considerable and is more holistic in nature these days.

With his more than 30 years' experience as a psychiatrist, of course Dr. Pablo Jeczmien is very highly regarded as an expert on the subjects of depression, anxiety disorders and post-traumatic stress disorders. However, there is more to him that that. He really tries to understand how to use the mind as a healing mechanism.

A few years ago, Dr. Pablo Jeczmien decided it was time to give up his management and university teaching duties and dedicate almost all of his non-clinical time to the study of Anthroposophical Medicine and Anthroposophical Psychotherapy. His overall aim was to analyze the interaction between mind and body and to better understand how they work together in the healing process. Since then, virtually all of his effort has been focused on various aspects of the scientific philosophies dealing with ways to enable to mend that mind-body bridge and to figure out ways to use the knowledge he gains in clinical practice. It is that knowledge that has encouraged him that a far more holistic approach to psychiatry is the best course when it comes to healing patients.

In all, Dr. Pablo Jeczmien has over 30 years' experience as a psychiatrist. Until a few years ago, his responsibilities also included responsibilities in management and university teaching, but that changed. Several years ago, he decided to study Anthroposophical Medicine and Anthroposophical Psychotherapy and he now dedicates all of his time outside of clinical practice to the investigation and study of certain aspects of the philosophy of science dealing with ways in which people may able to mend the bridge between the body and the mind. He is always looking for ways to learn more about those concepts and use them in clinical practice.

These days, Dr. Pablo Jeczmien is a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist with the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK, as well as a Psychotherapist who meets with patients individually, but who also provides group and family counseling when necessary. A member of the British Medical Association and the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Dr. Jeczmien is also registered with the General Medical Council.

None of this would be surprising to anyone who has followed Dr. Pablo Jeczmien's career because the trajectory of his career is a bit unusual. He actually started his career as a heart surgeon, working with a highly regarded team, until he decided to change course. He decided to specialise in psychiatry and psychotherapy as part of a personal quest to understand how the mind and the body worked together.

His personal and professional development has led Dr. Pablo Jeczmien to address mental and physical problems from a more multidimensional, and even spiritual, point of view. He prefers to take a holistic approach to mental health and psychological disorders, combining his psychiatric knowledge with psychotherapy, with the use of medications coming only when needed and when patients agree that it is necessary. In addition to his expertise in psychosis and personality disorders, he is also considered an expert with regard to depression, anxiety disorders and post-traumatic stress disorders.
